Have you ever been stunned with incredibility as a magician performed a bizarre feat of magic. Like David Copperfield, probably the greatest in our time, who has made the Statue of Liberty disappear, seemingly walk through the Great Wall of China and other unbelievable antics on a dazzling stage.
Can you believe a man called Derren Brown could get everyone, at the same time to stop walking and to raise their hand in a large shopping mall. And they didn’t even know he was controlling them. It was through the use of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).
Yet we know it is all ‘slight of hand’, tricks, illusion or manipulation of thoughts, and it is always fascinating to watch.
Magicians, illusionists, enchanters, diviners, fortune tellers, hypnotists, Tarot Card reading, etc. are all just using elements of trickery or illusion.
But what if people looked to them for genuine advice for the future or to reveal a mystery to us? Why would you, when we know it is just very good trickery?
The king asked Daniel (also called Belteshazzar), “Are you able to tell me what I saw in my dream and interpret it?” Daniel replied, “No wise man, enchanter, magician or diviner can explain to the king the mystery he has asked about, but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries.

There is only One who can reveal mysteries — God in Heaven.
We all talk to God at one time or other. We all cry out to him at some point in our life. He is our Maker, our Creator, our Provider. He is the revealer of mysteries. But can we hear him?
It is like a Radio Station broadcasting on a particular frequency. Just because we can’t hear it, doesn’t mean it isn’t transmitting. We can only hear it when we tune in the receiver.
It is the same with God. We need to be able to tune into His Voice… talking to God and Him talking to you….it is called Prayer.
