There is HOPE for us all.
In Jesus’ day the Tax Collectors were wealthy, had power, and could pretty much do what they wanted, when they wanted. Many were considered corrupt, greedy and despised. Compared with them, how do we rate?
Yet Jesus didn’t despise Levi but called the Tax Collector to follow Him… Love reaching out to the unloved.
Jesus calls us all in the same way… even you. How would you respond?
“After this, Jesus went out and saw a tax collector by the name of Levi sitting at his tax booth. “Follow me,” Jesus said to him, and Levi got up, left everything and followed him.” Luke 5:27,28
