number-our-daysThere is HOPE if we Number our Days

Psalms 90:12-13 MKJV
So teach us to number our days, so that we may bring a heart of wisdom.
(13)  Return, O Yehovah! How long? And give pity to Your servants.

We can only ask Yehovah for His wisdom to live our lives according to His plan.

Jeremiah 6:16-17 NIV
This is what the LORD says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’
(17)  I appointed watchmen over you and said, “Listen to the sound of the trumpet!’ But you said, ‘We will not listen.’

Will you Stand (Wait upon the Lord), look (watch), ask (pray to understand the Ancient Paths), then walk (in obedience)?

We all need to pray, repent and be obedient to Yehovah’s Commandments.

If we know Him, and He us, then we need not fear that which is coming, but prepare for it.

We must sound the alarm on our Watch, before it is too late for those who are perishing.

Time is short.

We have to number our days.

Are we listening? Are we watching? Are we praying?

Matthew 26:36-37 NIV
Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to them, “Sit here while I go over there and pray.”
(37)  He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee along with him, and he began to be sorrowful and troubled.

Luke 22:44 MKJV
And being in an agony He prayed more earnestly. And His sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

Matthew 26:38-41 NIV
Then he said to them, “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.”
(39)  Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”
(40)  Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. “Could you men not keep watch with me for one hour?” he asked Peter.
(41)  “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak.”

We are in good company… even the Disciples struggled to stay awake, to watch and pray. While Jesus sweated blood for, he knew what was to come…and the time was at hand. He was a little disappointed with the Disciples, for their sake, because they could not stay awake and see what was happening right there, right then.

Are your eyes open? Do you see? Are you awake yet, watching and praying?
