Ever ignored good advice, regretted ignoring it and leaving a decision too late?
My dad once picked a block of land in Maroochydore, QLD and said I should get in early to buy that property for $20,000. There was a narrow timeframe to do so. Being young and brash I ignored Dad’s advice and rudely told him I wanted to enjoy my money now and I had plenty of time to invest. Just a few years later it was sold for $1.2M to build a high rise on it! Regret much?!
Since that day I have remembered to never put off to tomorrow that which you can do today!
That is why I made my decision in 1986 in regards to the offer below:
Someone asked Jesus,
“Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?” He said to them, “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, ‘Sir, open the door for us.’ “But he will answer, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from.’ Luke 13:23-25
Narrow Door = accept Jesus
House = Heaven
Owner = God
Regret not.
