In our independent age, many strive to do and achieve on their own.

“After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he was about to go.” Luke 10:1

Two by TwoHow much better is it when we partner with someone? Is not our burden halved and our effectiveness and achievements, together, exponentially doubled?!

For example, if you are married, is this not the case?

You protect each other’s back, encourage, spur on, sharpen each other’s thinking, explore further, a companion in the lonely moments, pursue things you simply can’t tackle alone… and a whole lot more! God did say, it wasn’t good for man to be alone.

I know if it were not for my wife, we would never have done or achieved individually anything near what we have together!

So, no matter what we are called to do in life, how much better is it to do it together with others than to pursue it alone?
