Dont forget to remember

Monday’s are bin night. Is the second bin the green bin or the recycling bin? Worse still is if I forget to take any bin out… and the reminder comes as I hear the Rubbish Truck trundle by early the next morning!

By the following Monday with an unhappy wife (and we all know, happy wife, happy life!)… well, let’s just say that I vow not to forget again… until the next time!

After a few times I realised I needed a reliable method of remembering.

Thank you for my electronic diary with an alarm!

There are many different ways to remember the important things in life.

More so, remembering what Jesus has done for you and me…

And Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.” Luke 22:19,20

I love when we do the same at church on a regular basis throughout the year.

We all need, and appreciate, good reminders of the things that are important.
