Luke 1:12 “When Zechariah saw the angel, he was startled and was gripped with fear. “
Do you realise how AWESOME, HUGE, FEARSOME, INTIMIDATING an Angel is? If you saw one stand before you, you too would tremble, go weak at the knees, and be scared witless! They are a fearsome sight.
Yet a word from them to say, “Do not be afraid…” is all we need to hear.
No wonder the spiritual enemies of the Lord tremble in fear before them… there is no Peace or word of comfort.
And the army of those huge fearsome Angels obey the command of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Are we not thankful that we know Jesus, intimately? He calls us friend.
