Most Christians speak of ‘going’ to church. We can easily relate to church as a place, a location, a building, and there are some really stunning ones around – just checkout these 10 most unique churches. I especially like the Rock Church in Helsinki.
But the 11th Church is the most amazing and unique of all.
For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.
Matthew 18:20
When Christians gather together, and only 2 or 3 need to do so, God is there with them – this is the Church gathered – WE are the Church. And the best part is that it doesn’t matter where they are gathered…it can be down the local shops, in a home, around a hospital bed, in a park, anywhere, and yes, even in a church building – a building for the Church to meet in.
Being a part of the Church is incredible to belong to:
Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit. Ephesians 2:19-22
Who will you be the Church with today?
